Most evenings from spring through autumn, the mountains around Kaslo will have a few moments of alpenglow - the last rays of the sun glowing pink on the peaks. The mountains still have snow on them even into late August, with a brief period of nakedness before the fall storms bring it back.
These earrings blend the sky into the mountains with shades of purple and pink, onto the white snow and grey peaks.

- avoid wearing lotions, oils, or scents next to your beadwork
- store fringe beadwork laying down; over time, the thread on the fringe can stretch slightly
